My name is Matthew Clark, and I'm a 2017 graduate from Western Kentucky University with a B.S. in computer science. I first started programming formula solvers and text games on my TI-82 and 2D platformers using the GameMaker engine in 2006.
My passion is web and video game development with a focus on neural networks, but my skills in this area translate well into problem solving and logical reasoning in general for any project. The main desktop languages I've worked with are C++, Java, C#, and Python. I am also experienced with front- and back-end web technologies using PHP (including Laravel), JavaScript (including TypeScript, Angular, and Vue), HTML, CSS (including Tailwind), and SQL (including MySQL and Google BigQuery). Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Audacity I use as well for more artistic projects.
I am currently living & working in Franklin, KY with my wonderful wife and daughter. When not programming you can find me reading science fiction and fantasy books, playing games of the same genre, or hiking.
